Write a Rug or Carpet Cleaning Review

The most useful reviews compare the quote with the invoice, and say how any problem was handled. Answer the prompts and the page drafts it for you.

Nothing is sent or stored from this page. Your draft stays in your browser until you copy it.

Your Experience

Something went wrong and you want it put right? A review is the wrong tool — file a problem report instead. Those are checked against your paperwork and the company is given a right of reply before anything is published.

Pick from the 16 listed companies, or type any name — browse the directory if you are not sure.

Your rating does not move the RugRate Score today — that reads published ratings from Google, Yelp and the other platforms. Ratings collected here will join it once RugRate holds enough of its own, and the methodology page will say so before they do.

Writing a Review — FAQs

Will my review be published straight away?

Not yet. Accounts and listings open as companies are added, so for now the page helps you write your review and keep a copy. Nothing is sent or stored from this page.

Do I need to name the company?

Yes, for the review to be useful. Reviews are tied to a company and a real job, and we do not publish complaints about a company you never hired.

Can I write about a company that is not listed?

You can draft it now. When that company is listed or claims its listing, your review can be attached to it.

What should I leave out?

Staff names and personal details, contact details, marketing or discount codes, and anything you cannot describe from your own experience of the job.
