For Businesses

What a Listing Costs

A listing is free, and it stays free. Paid options exist for visibility, and they are kept strictly separate from anything that signals trust.

Paid placement is not live yet. Rates will be published here before anything is charged.

Visibility Extras

For companies that want more reach. Presentation and placement only.

  • Advertising

Labelled placement on relevant pages. It never changes a score, a rating or a ranking, and it is always marked as advertising.

  • Enhanced listing

More photos, a longer profile, before-and-after work. Presentation only — nothing that affects how you are ranked or scored.

Rates published before launch. No charge without your agreement.

Not for sale at any price

Things Money Cannot Buy Here

If any of these were purchasable, none of the signals on this site would be worth reading — including yours.

  • Being listed at all — a free listing is not a trial that expires
  • Verification, or faster verification
  • A higher transparency score
  • A better position in an unpaid ranking
  • Removal of a review, or of a verified complaint
  • Exclusivity in a borough or neighborhood

Pricing FAQs

Is the free listing a trial?

No. The free listing is the product. Paid options sit alongside it and are optional.

What will advertising cost?

Rates are not published yet, because paid placement is not live. When it is, the price and the terms will be on this page before anyone is charged, and nothing is charged without you agreeing to it first.

Do you charge per lead?

No, and enquiries are not resold. A customer who contacts you through RugRate is not simultaneously sold to four competitors, which is what makes most lead marketplaces miserable for everyone.

Do you take a commission on jobs?

No. RugRate does not process payments and takes no cut of the work. The price you agree with the customer is the whole transaction.

What if I stop paying for an optional extra?

Your free listing, your reviews, your verification and your score all stay exactly as they are. Only the paid extra stops.
