Reports
Published Complaint Reports
When a report clears verification and the company has replied, it appears here and on that company’s profile. Nothing else is published.
No Reports Published Yet
Reports are being collected, but none has completed verification and right of reply. Rather than fill this page with unverified claims, it stays empty until a report meets the bar below.
- The customer hired the company and can evidence the job
- Dates, quote and invoice line up with the paperwork
- The company was contacted and given a right of reply
- The problem was not resolved in the resolution window
Reports — FAQs
Why are there no reports listed?
Because none have completed the process yet. RugRate does not publish unverified accusations, and does not invent entries to fill a page.
How will reports be sorted when they exist?
By recency and by status, using filters on this page rather than separate pages, so there is only ever one address for the report list.
Where does a published report appear?
On the company’s own complaint page at /company/{company-slug}/complaints, alongside its profile, with the company’s response included.
I have a problem right now. What should I do?
Ask the company in writing for a status and a date, keep every message, and use the report page. For unresolved consumer complaints, New York City’s Department of Consumer and Worker Protection takes complaints, and city services are reachable through 311.
