What This Award Recognises
Value is what you got for what you paid. This recognises companies whose customers felt the work justified the price, whether that price sat at the bottom of the market or the top.
The Criteria
All of these are checkable, and all of them are published before any judging happens.
- Results customers rated highly relative to what they paid
- Prices within the normal New York range, published in advance
- No pattern of add-ons appearing after the job started
- Honest about when a rug does not need the expensive option
- Repeat customers, and customers who used them for more than one rug
What It Does Not Mean
This is not the cheapest-price award. A very low quote that turns into a mediocre surface clean is poor value, and it is scored that way.
